Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath on Sunday (December 26, 2021) launched 31 development projects worth Rs 158 crore including Pradhan Mantri Awas yojana houses in Prayagraj. CM Yogi also distributed certificates and keys to the beneficiaries of various schemes. CM Yogi addressed the people after laying the foundation stone for housing for the poor on land released from the possession of former Samajwadi Party (SP) MP Atiq Ahmed in Lukarganj.

CM Yogi said, "Before 2017, the property of the poor and traders was occupied by the mafia. Today, I extend my greetings and best wishes to all of you on the occasion of the launch of two schemes of free housing for the poor on land freed from the possession of notorious mafias in Prayagraj. I also extend my advance greetings to the poor who have benefited from this scheme. This housing scheme will lead to a major change in their lives along the lines of PM Awas Yojana.'

Meanwhile, CM Yogi also lashed out at the SP-BSP governments that have been in power in UP for many years. He said that earlier there was no money for development and some people used to grab the money coming for the development of the people, as a result of which the poor used to suffer. CM Yogi further said, "It is not socialist perfume, it is a socialist smell, which is being spread all over the state with the help of the poor. It is a symbol of the sigh of the poor. Today, the money that was looted by depriving a poor person of home, food, and other schemes of the UP Government is coming out of the walls today.''
