Yogi to lay foundation of several developmental projects to Gorakhpur today

GORAKHPUR: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath of Uttar Pradesh will lay the foundation for many development projects in Gorakhpur, his constituency, on Sunday.

According to district administration officials, the projects totaling Rs 287 crore include the inauguration and foundation laying of Rs 144 crore development projects at Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Park, Rs 143 crore development projects at Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority (GIDA), and allotment papers for 45.5 acres of land to six new investors.
On Sunday, the Chief Minister will also launch 40 rural engineering department and Gorakhpur Development Authority (GDA) projects worth Rs 33.16 crore at Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Park. 

Yogi will lay the foundation for 21 Awas Vikas Parishad, Barh Khand, and PWD projects worth Rs 111.33 crore. He will also lay the foundation for the Rs. 2.16 crore Kasturba Gandhi Girls Hostel in Gola, as well as a Rs. 4.52 crore auditorium at the Government ITI in Chargaon.

The Chief Minister will present new investors with land allotment papers, paving the path for investment. The new investors suggested investment of Rs 1,005 crore, which would result in the creation of around 2,700 jobs. On a 25-acre plot of land, a textile cluster is being built. The Chief Minister will also lay the foundation for Rs 143 crore in infrastructural development projects in GIDA.
