Sri Lanka's Yohani, who became a night-night sensation by singing 'Manike Laghe Hite', has now settled in the city of dreams Mumbai, to pursue a career in Bollywood. Yohani is learning Hindi these days in Mumbai and has told the story behind her song in a conversation with the media, while also stating her future plans in detail.

Manika Mage Hete is still on the tongue of the people even today. Yohani is happy and surprised by the popularity she got. The biggest achievement she feels is that her song has completely broken another barrier of language, made the borders of the country redundant and people from different countries, from different languages, have been joined together. Yohani says that she has shifted to Mumbai because of the popularity of this song.

Focus on learning Hindi: At the moment, all of Yohani's focus is on learning Hindi. I have started taking classes of Hindi from 2-2 teachers daily, who are working on my diction and language. Both of them are trainers of Hindi school teachers. However, she has not thought about trying luck in acting. She says, "I'm here to make a career in singing. My priority is going to be a musician, I am working a lot on Hindi music. I'm listening to old Bollywood songs. Decade after decade, how the music here has evolved.'' 

Yohani has to speak about this that I want to sing with the Badshah. Apart from this, it has also been decided to celebrate with Neha Kakkar. Along with which I want to sing for Alia Bhatt, I like them very much. I also want to do rap with Ranveer Singh.  

Yohani, who lives in another country away from her family, speaks about this, I travel a lot. If I miss the family or get emotional, I am trying to put all that emotion in the music. I am engaged in making a song or tune so that the creation looks real. She has parents and younger sisters in her family, apart from this, she has also started considering the dog kitty as a member of the family.
