The Mahindra Thar Rocks is available in two engine options:

• 2.0-litre petrol engine: 160bhp and 330Nm of torque
• 2.2-litre diesel engine: 150bhp and 330Nm of torque

In comparison, the Maruti Suzuki Jimny only gets a 1.5-litre petrol engine that produces 105bhp and 134Nm of torque.

There is also a big difference in the dimensions of the two SUVs:
