NEW DELHI: In a shocking incident in Delhi's Brijpuri area, a 20-year-old youth became a victim of a stabbing by his neighbor, as per a police officer's report.

The incident occurred when Rahul and his cousin Sonu (19), who both reside in D-Block, Brijpuri, decided to grab some ice cream after their dinner near Shibban School. It was around 10 p.m. on Friday night.

During their outing, an argument broke out between Rahul and a fellow resident of the same locality named Mohd Zaid (20) over a minor issue. The situation quickly escalated, leading to Zaid stabbing Rahul in the lower abdomen. Sonu also sustained injuries on his arms during the altercation, the official revealed. The Dayalpur police station has registered a case in connection with the incident.

As of now, Zaid remains at large, and a determined manhunt is underway to apprehend him and bring him to justice.
