The enhanced thumbnails aim to simplify the process of identifying video content and facilitate quicker video discovery.

Premium users can activate the feature by visiting YouTube's experimental features page and toggling the "Bigger previews" option. Once enabled, the larger thumbnails will become visible as users browse through the vast video library.
