Thirumala Srivastava was visited by many celebrities. YSSRCP leader Ummareddy Venkateshwarlu, Pedana legislator Jogi Ramesh and former MLA Sivaprasad Reddy visited Swami during the VIP visit on Wednesday morning. After the darshan, the temple priests blessed and offered Tirtha Prasadam.

Outside the temple, Ummareddy Venkateshwar told the media that the Vaikuntha Ekadashi day house-laying program at a cost of Rs 87,000 crore was being undertaken for the poor people of the state. He said there would be a mudslinging attempt on CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy, who is carrying out welfare programs for the poor people of the state.

Responding to a series of attacks on temples, Ramatirtha said the government had set up a committee on the incident, but the opposition was rushing to it. Ummareddy Venkateshwar said the government was taking due precautions to prevent attacks on Hindu temples in the state.
