Ongole: Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, Jana Sena Political Affairs Committee chairman Nadendla Manohar also alleged that the YSRCP leader was involved in a land scam of Rs 20,000 crore in the name of Jagannath colonies. He questioned why the Guntur channel expansion work could not be completed in Prakasam district. He said farmers are waiting for the supply of irrigation water for another 50,000 acres. The Jana Sena leader made it clear that the Jana Sena Party leaders would cooperate for the victory of the BJP candidate in the Budwell by-election. The leader met the family of his party worker Grandy Venkatarayudu, who was killed in the accident at Nuthlapadu village of Parahuru assembly constituency on Friday evening and presented a check of Rs 5 lakh as insurance coverage. The JSP leader said that the state government has failed to serve the people and is facing their outrage at the grassroots level. Though the government has allocated Rs 14,500 crore for roads and Rs 2000 crore for their repair in the budget, it has failed to spend even a single rupee. BJP Prakasam District President Shaik Riaz, local leaders Malaga Ramesh, Paknati Gotham Raj, Chikti Vamsi, Kancharla Srikrishna, Belmakonda Sai Babu and others also participated in the program.
