Amaravati: Addressing a press conference on Wednesday, senior YSRCP leader MLA K Parthasarathy said that Pawan Kalyan was unnecessarily taking a dig at the state government and trying to create rift among social communities. Refuting the allegations that the government is against the Kammas, he said the YSRCP was not an enemy of any particular community and recalled that all communities were given prominence, weaker sections were given priority, even Krishna In the district too, the post of ZP president was given to a Dalit woman.

The MLA said the actor is acting in real life as well and is speaking out of despair as he has failed to garner the mandate. He said that Pawan should understand that he cannot benefit from cursing the government and targeting the chief minister, as people will never elect him. The MLA said that when his allies (TDP-BJP government) were ruling during the assassination of Vivekananda and the attack on the Chief Minister, the Jana Sena chief remained silent.

Now he is accusing the YSRC government that the cases have been sidelined. He clarified that the YSRCP leaders had requested a probe by central agencies for transparency. Further, he said that Pawan Kalyan had gained a lot from the Telugu film industry, but not vice versa. The state government wants to bring transparency and avoid black marketing through the online ticketing system, where existing private parties are charging an additional 12 per cent on each ticket. To prevent this, the government offered to provide services by depositing only two per cent without burdening the common man.
