In many places across the country, Muslims took to the streets and raised slogans of 'Sar Tan Se Juda' and even Nupur Sharma was and threatened to gang-rape and kill the entire family. However, as the controversy escalated, Nupur apologized for her remarks, and the BJP also suspended her.
