About a week ago, Pink hit the screen and appreciated by audience. Also it has achieved tremendous appreciation by critics. Pink stars Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari, Andrea Tariang and Angad Bedi in lead roles. Film subject is based on sexual harassment and nation's perspective towards the issue.
Gardened with all such appreciation, filmmakers will take a step further to strengthen the Zero FIR Law with regard to Pink. At a event, Shoojit Sircar said "the Law ministry has been strengthening Zero FIR law and figuring out the basics of how to apply this law. He said that the film will be used as a platform to promote the Zero FIR, the FIR, and the bail process. As the film deals with how the law can help in getting justice for the victims."
Shoojit also had conversation with Law Minister. On which he informed that this FIR law exists in our laws but many young women have no idea on how to use it and get the right help from the police without any charges made.
