In an interview, Sehgal said, 'I never got the lead characters because I was not beautiful, but I struggled there. According to media reports, in Zohra's book 'Zohra Sehgal: Fatty', Sehgal's daughter Kiran Sehgal said, 'Sehgal was jealous of her sister's popularity and charm. Because of this frustration, Zohra Sehgal tried her best to look attractive and get attention.'
