New Delhi: Corona infection cases are increasing rapidly across the world, including India and the United States. However, vaccination campaigns are also going on against it and various types of drugs are also being discovered which can be effective against corona. In this series, the famous pharmaceutical company Zydus Cadila has sought permission from the Controller General of Indian Drugs (DCGI) to use a drug of hepatitis in the treatment of coronavirus. This drug is named Pegylated Interferon Alpha-2B. 

Zydus Cadila said in a statement released on Monday that the clinical trial of the third phase of Pegylated Interferon Alpha 2B has shown encouraging results regarding the treatment of corona from this drug. In fact, the company sells the drug under the brand name 'Peghehep'. According to media reports, Zydus Cadila said that the initial results have shown that its use is more rapid than patient infection of the corona initially. Are fine. Along with this, patients do not have problems with this. 

According to reports, Cadila Healthcare has been commercially producing PEGylated Interferon Alpha 2B under the brand for the treatment of Hepatitis B and C for many years. Last year, during an analysis of corona patients in Wuhan by a group of universities in China, Australia, and Canada, it was found that people who had been given interferon alfa-2b medication had significantly reduced virus outbreaks.
