The Festive Sale of the E-commerce Company's annual festive season is once again in Flipkart's hand. Compared to Amazon India, Flipkart has increased its sale. In comparison to last year's festive season this year, total sales have increased 40% in the Indian market.
According to industry estimates, Flipkart's share in Festive Season Sales has increased to 50%, which was 45% in the last Festive Season. The e-commerce company Flipkart has captured the lost market share of Snapdeal. At the same time, Amazon's market share is expected to be 35 percent during Festive Sales. However, Amazon says that its share of scales like order volume and active customers is 50 percent.
Products sold for around $3 billion
According to analysts, the combined share of Flipkart and Amazon India in this year's Overall Festive Season Sales is around 80 percent. The last phase of the mega sales events of e-commerce companies is ending on Tuesday. A senior analyst said, "We believe that online retailers have sold goods worth $ 2.8-2.9 billion in this festive season, whereas last season the companies had sold more than 2 billion dollars product."
Flipkart gross sales in September was 4,300 crores
According to analysts associated with the industry, Flipkart had left the competitive American firm behind its first flagship sale in September. Flipkart's gross merchandise volume or gross sales during the Big Billion Days Sale stood at Rs 4,300 crore, which was Rs 2,300 crore during last year's event. Meanwhile, during the Great Indian Festival Sale launched in September this year, Amazon's gross sales stood at Rs 2,500 crore, which was Rs 1,800 crore last year.
