SR Ramachandra Rao the former test umpire passed away on Sunday at the age of 81. The Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) released a statement on this.
The statement reads "The President, office bearers and members of the management committee of the Karnataka State Cricket Association deeply condoles the sad and sudden demise of Sri SR Ramachandra Rao,"
Rao made his first-class umpiring debut in a Ranji Trophy game between Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh in Aligarh in November 1975.
