India Women have been clubbed with Sri Lanka, Ireland, Zimbabwe and Thailand in Group A for the ICC Women's World Cup Qualifier 2017, beginning from February 7.

Group B involves South Africa, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Scotland and Papua New Guinea.

Four out of the ten sides taking an interest the qualifier will procure an entry to the Women's World Cup 2017, which will be played in the United Kingdom from June 26 to July 23.

Every side will play four matches in the first round, after which the main three sides from every gathering will advance to the Super Six phase, which will see every group play three matches against groups from the other gathering.

The qualifier will be held at four scenes in Colombo, and the sides competing in the main four of the Super Six phase will join safeguarding champions Australia, England, New Zealand and West Indies in the World Cup to finish an eight-group line-up. The Super Six phase for the qualifier will start on February 15, and the last will be hung on February 21.

"This is a critical occasion on the ladies' cricket timetable as it offers a last chance to the sides to meet all requirements for the ICC Women's World Cup, which is a definitive occasion for any cricketer," said Holly Colvin, the ICC Women's Cricket Officer, on Monday (December 19).

"The main four sides from the Super Six phase won't meet all requirements for the ICC Women's World Cup 2017, yet they will likewise secure places in the following version of the ICC Women's Championship. There is motivating force for the staying two sides from the Super Six phase, which will secure ODI status for the following four years."

Groups:

Groups A: India, Sri Lanka, Ireland, Zimbabwe and Thailand

Group B: South Africa, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Scotland and Papua New Guinea

February 7: Sri Lanka v India; Ireland v Zimbabwe; South Africa v Pakistan; Zimbabwe v Scotland.

February 8: Pakistan v Bangladesh; Scotland v South Africa; Sri Lanka v Ireland; India v Thailand.

February 10: India v Ireland; Thailand v Zimbabwe.

February 11: South Africa v Bangladesh; Scotland v PNG; Sri Lanka v Zimbabwe; Ireland v Thailand.

February 13: Zimbabwe v India; Sri Lanka v Thailand; South Africa v PNG; Pakistan v Scotland.
