Fourth ODI~ India suffers defeat against Australia

Bengaluru: The Fourth ODI of ongoing five-match ODI series between India and Australia was played at the  M. Chinnaswamy Stadium Bengaluru. After losing three consecutive matches to India the Aussies finally won against India. The Australian team defeated India by 21 runs.

The Australian player won the toss and chose to bat first and while batting first they made 334 runs, giving a target of 335 runs to Men in Blue. Indian team in their innings could make only  313 for 8 at the end of 50 overs. Australian players performed well as David Warner became only the eighth batsman to score a century in his 100th 50-over match as he scored 124 runs. Other players Pat Cummins (1/59 in 10 overs), Kane Richardson (3/58 in 10 overs) and Nathan Coulter-Nile (2/56 in 10 overs) scored runs.

In the opening 18overs, the players Ajinkya Rahane scored 53 runs and Rohit Sharma scored 65 runs giving a good start by scoring 106 in partnership. The Indian captain can score only 21 runs. Hardik Pandya dismissed for 41, Manish Pandey (a 25-ball 33) and Kedar Jadhav (65). The former Indian captain MS Dhoni got out on the last ball of the 48th over.
