In the men’s singles of the Chinese Grand Prix tournament in Taipei, China; Indian shuttler Saurabh Varma made through the semi-finals against the local favourite and top ranked Jen Hao. The match was won by Varma with score sheet showing 11-4 11-7 11-9 and won the match in a 33 minute clash.
This is the third time that Saurabh has made to the Final Summit clash of any international tournament. The other finalist will come out of the next match who will be between Daren Lieu and Lin Yu Hsien, from Malaysia and Chinese Taipei respectively.
