Sri Lanka after the worst nightmare tour against India but against Pakistan managed to post a very admirable total on the board against Pakistan in UAE, Chandimal's ton and his brutal partnerships with Dickwella first and then with Perera. Pakistan too had started really strong in order to cut down the deficit as they haven’t lost a wicket and already added 64 on the account. They still have a long way to go as they trail by another 355 runs by the visitors. It won't be easy for the host Pakistan to overcome this huge margin of the deficit. They will need all their batsmen to put their hands up and really need to bat well if they are to surpass or get close to the score. For Sri Lanka, the majority of the bowling will be done by spin tomorrow as day 3 of this first test match began they are the ones getting assistance from the track. They will try and take some early wickets to put the Pakistan side under pressure. In Srilanka’s innings, top scorer of 155 unbeaten Dinesh Chandimal of 372 balls plays a remarkable inning for his team to reach the total of an excess of 400 as Srilanka won the toss earlier as elected to bat first. Mohammad Abbas hold the best figure amongst the Pakistan bowler with 3 for 75. Pakistan score 64 with no loss, both openers stay on the wicket Sami Aslam (31)* and Shan Masood (30).
