Reported by People magazine, Hollywood star Tom Cruise's mother Mary Lee South took her last breath last week. Tom along with his sisters Lee Ann DeVette, Cass Mapother, and Marian Henry attended her funeral ceremony. Her last rites were performed at their local Church of Scientology which was attended by close friends and family.

Also, Mary Lee shared the strong bond with her son Tom once said, "I was always interested in theater, but I never did anything with it. When I was growing up, if you went to Hollywood, that was really risqué. I guess I was Tom's greatest audience. He had it in him then. When he asked if he could be an actor, we wholeheartedly agreed. Because we felt it was a God-given talent. So to make a long story short, we gave him our blessing and the rest is history."
