Trivendra Singh Rawat, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) senior leader today swear in oath as the newly elected Chief Minister of Uttarakhand. Governor Krishna Kant Paul administered the oath of office and secrecy to him.
The Oath ceremony is attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Amit Shah, Union Ministers Rajnath Singh and other dignitaries.
In the result of Assembly elections 2017, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) got 57 seats while the Congress party got only 11 seats out of total 70 seats.
