Nagpur: The Indian Men cricket team player Umesh Yadav said that in future, he and his co player Mohammed Shami have to bowl well in the final over to maintain their place in the team. In Test matches, Umesh is bowling better in this season than the previous season, but he and Shami are not able to make a place in ODIs. Their place in the current series against Australia has been preferred by Jaspreet Bumrah and Bhuvaneshwar Kumar in the fast bowling.
In the last match played in Bangalore the bowler Umesh Yadav gave 71 runs in ten overs and took four wickets.
Umesh said , "The defeat of Bengaluru has not had any effect on the team's morale. I think we had given 15-20 more runs. Shami and I played together after a long time but we are a senior player of the team, we have to perform according to the needs of the team. Especially in the last over, we have to take more responsibility. "
The fifth and final ODI match between India and Australia of ongoing five-match series is scheduled to be played on Sunday, 1 October 2017 at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur. The Men in Blue is leading in the series with 3-0. Though the Indian team won three consecutive matches of ODI series they suffered a defeat in the Fourth ODI.
