The politician and the current Union Minister who is holding the position of Ministry of Information Technology (India) and Law and Justice portfolio in the Government of India Ravi Shankar Prasad today is celebrating his birthday. The politician was born on 30 August 1954, in Bihar's Patna.

Today, the member of the Bharatiya Janata Party become 67-year-old. He represents the state of Bihar as a Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha. In the Supreme court, he is also designated, senior advocate.

He studied at the  Patna University and secured degrees of BA Hons, MA (Political Science) and LL.B degrees. He was designated senior advocate at the Patna High Court in 1999 and Senior Advocate at the Supreme Court of India in 2000.
