In the ongoing Hockey India 7th Senior National Hockey Championship 2017 (Men) 'A' Division yesterday the Uttar Pradesh Hockey beat Hockey Jharkhand by 3-2. Hockey Jharkhand opened the scoring via a Binay Bhengra goal in the 10th minute.
In Pool B, Hockey Gangpur - Odisha beat Hockey Bhopal 4-1. In Pool C, Punjab & Sind Bank beat The Mumbai Association Ltd 2-1.
In Pool D, Hockey Karnataka beat Hockey Chandigarh 4-1.
