Claudio Ranieri was dismissed from his employment on Thursday as announced by Midlands side. He has been sacked as a manager of Leicester City.
The departure was so obvious after a gutsy 2-1 loss away to Sevilla in the first leg of a Champions League on Wednesday. Even this loss of his post he was proclaimed as the 'most successful manager' in the history of the 133-year-old club by the Thai-owned Leicester.
A source close to them stated, "Leicester City Football Club has tonight (Thursday) parted company with its first-team manager, Claudio Ranieri." He added, "Claudio, appointed City manager in July 2015, led the Foxes to the greatest triumph in the club's 133-year history last season, as we were crowned champions of England for the first time. His status as the most successful Leicester City manager of all time is without question."
