The People's Party of Arunachal Pradesh on Thursday has suspended the Chief Minister Pema Khandu and along with him Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein and five MLAs Jambey Tashi, C T Mein, P D Sona, Zignu Namchoom and Kamlung Mossang.
"The party is planning to go to the common people and accordingly directed the party cadres to go to block and district level and consult with common people and get first hand information and to start a mass movement against demonetization," said Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) President Padi Richo.
On 16 July 2016, he became the CM of the state as Apex Court removed the Nabam Tuki on July 13.
