New Delhi: Every cricketer will have to undergo a DOP test before the Champions Trophy as per the sources. For the first time, cricketers will have to give a blood sample for the DOP test.

As per the guidelines of the World Anti-Doping agency, the test will be conducted in June ahead of the Champions Trophy. This blood test is said to be the Smart-Test by WADA as per the sources news.

According to the source from BCCI, blood samples of the cricketers collected ahead of the Champion Trophy, will be preserved for 10 years. The fresh test will be conducted in every six months, that will be compared with the original sample.
