Massive fire breaks out in Shimla's Rohru area

Himachal Pradesh: In Shimla's Tangnu village in Rohru area fire broke out in which 58 houses were gutted. Due to which almost 216 people became homeless and in the incident, cattles also lost their life.

The massive fire took place yesterday late night in village Tangnu in Chirgaon tehsil of Rohru which is 140 kms away from the Shimla. Anupam Thakur, Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Rohroo said "ten sheeps and four cows perished in the fire and an immediate relief of Rs 40,000 has been provided to each family."

Shimla's SP DW Negi Said "the cause of the fire is not known, adding that it is suspected to be triggered by short circuit."
