Samajwadi Party today has suspended the National Convention called by Mulayam Singh which was supposed to be held on January 5. SP Leader Shivpal Yadav said 'As per Mulayam Singh Yadav's order national convention of samajwadi party called by him on January 5 has been put on hold.'
He further said that the party leaders should concentrate on winning the elections. Yesterday, few hours after Akhilesh Yadav was elected party chief, Mulayam singh called the meeting and called it illegal.
For the party control disputes are in going between Akhilesh and Shivpal Yadav.
