Central Board of Secondary Education is going to implement three language norm, according to which all CBSE affiliated school should teach three languages up to 10th class. Which includes, regional language, English and foreign language. Hindi speaking region provided with the subjects Hindi, English and any of the foreign language. Whereas, non-Hindi- speaking states should learn Hindi English and regional language, and government schools can include Sanskrit as a third language.

This rule was previously implemented but, the subjects were taught from 6th to 8th. Appeal was sent to CBSE before two years and now educational committee will be implementing it after the approval from HRD Ministry.

In option to Home Board and CBSE board, only 20% of the students opt choice of CBSE board. Now CBSE will make compulsion for all the students to give board examination, there wouldn't be any choice of Home Board.
