RBI: From 1st January Onwards withdraw Rs 4,500 from ATMs

As from 1st January onwards , there will be no demonetisated currency will be deposited in Banks, the RBI on Friday has increased the limit of withdrawing the cash from bank. Now with-drawer can withdraw Rs 4,500 instead of Rs 2,500.

Reserve Bank of India notification said "On a review of the position, the daily limit of withdrawal from ATMs has been increased with effect from January 1, 2017, from the existing Rs 2,500 to Rs 4,500 per day per card,".

However, the weekly withdrawal of Rs. 24,000 is still the same and all the notes that will be distributed from ATMs will be Rs 500 note.
