The supreme court today has declared that the Government's annual budget will be presented on the 1st February before the assembly elections of five states (Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Goa and Manipur) which will began from the 4 February and will end on 8 March.
The court has dismissed the petition which was filed by the Advocate ML Sharma. The Finance ministry has already started printing the budget documents.
In the annual budget, the railway budget will also be merged. The decision was taken by the Cabinet in the September.
