The polling for the seventh and final phase of elections in Uttar Pradesh has begun today in 40 constituencies. 535 candidates are contesting the elections on these seats including 51 women.

As per the sources news, 1.41 crore voters are eligible to vote in this seventh and last phase of UP Assembly elections which includes 76.87 lakh men and 64.99 women while 706 voters are of the third gender.

Around 8,632 polling stations with 14,458 polling booths have been made.

On 11 march the counting of votes will take place.
