According to the police, Monica Ahirwar (17) lived in Berasia. She studied in 12th standard. There are two brothers in the family besides the parents. The father of the deceased student is a farmer. The family informed the police that on Monday night, Monika slept on the ground in her room after having dinner.

When the family members saw her vomiting late at night, he took the students to Government Hospital in Berasia for treatment. While under treatment, doctors declared her dead.
