Ahead of the upcoming assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to lay the foundation stone of Ganga expressway at Shahjahanpur in UP today i.e. This will open up a new path to economic development and employment of the state. On the other hand, the total length of this expressway will be 594 km and the Ganga Expressway will pass through the most fertile areas of the country. It is also going to benefit the people of NCR, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and many other States. This expressway will pass through 12 districts of Uttar Pradesh, so the farmers, entrepreneurs and common people of these areas will benefit a lot. As per the information received, Ganga expressway will pass through the Meerut, Hapur, Bulandshahr, Amroha, Sambhal, Badaun and Shahjahanpur districts of western UP. Another bridge will now be constructed at Garhmukteshwar for the movement of people from the Hapur and Bulandshahar districts. In addition, the expressway will go to Hardoi, Unnao, Rae Bareli, Pratapgarh and Prayagraj ahead of Shahjahanpur. Let me tell you that 94 per cent of the land for the expressway has now been purchased. Also inform you that 5 km runway will also be constructed. Not only this, an industrial corridor will also be constructed along this expressway. At the time when land for Ganga Expressway was being purchased, the corona wave was peaking across the country, though 94 per cent of the land has been purchased from 83,000 farmers for Ganga expressway in just 1 year. At the same time, it is being said that the construction of expressways will also make it easier for people to reach NCR and improve connectivity to inner stations and bus depots in the area. It is believed that the project will be completed by 2025. Highlights of Ganga Expressway- Ganga Expressway will start from near Bijoli village in Meerut district on Meerut-Bulandshahr route (NH No.334) and end near Judapur Dandu village in Prayagraj district on Prayagraj Bypass (NH No.19). The expressway will be 0.6 lanes wide. At the same time, it will be extended up to 0.8 lane in future. The construction of Ganga expressway project is said to promote the social and economic development of nearby areas as well as agriculture, commerce, tourism and industry activities. At the same time, the expressway will be helpful as an industrial corridor connecting several production units, development centres and agricultural production sectors to the capital.
