New Delhi: Amazon on Tuesday announced that it will increase the amount of ad-free music and podcasts available to Prime customers. The e-commerce giant claims that Prime members, who previously had around 2 million songs without any ads, will now have access to over 100 million ad-free songs as well as popular podcasts. The action is being taken as retailers seek to expand their subscription offerings by bundling entertainment services such as streaming with their flagship apps. More than 200 million people subscribe to Amazon's fast-shipping and media service Prime across the world, including in India.
