New Delhi: Oppo is believed to be developing its next generation Oppo A series of smartphones. Oppo A58 could be the first model in this mid-range lineup.
A new report claims to reveal the design renders and specifications of the phone. The device is expected to feature a 6.56-inch LCD screen with a V-shaped notch, which will house an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The Oppo A58 could be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage.
According to 91Mobiles, thanks to tipster Evan Blass (Twitter: @evleaks), the Oppo A58 could be available in Breeze Purple, Starry Sky Black or Tranquil Sea Blue colours.

The price of this Oppo smartphone is not yet known. It is expected to be available in three variants: 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage.
Expected Specifications Oppo A58
The Oppo A58 is expected to sport a 6.56-inch LCD screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz. It is said to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, as well as up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. This Oppo smartphone is said to run ColorOS 12.1, which is based on Android.
It can get a dual-rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary Samsung-built sensor and a 108-megapixel secondary camera. The Oppo A58 is also expected to house an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.

It is likely to house a 3,880mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The power button is shown on the right side of the Oppo A58 and the volume rocker is shown on the left. This smartphone may also include a 3.5mm headphone jack.

According to another recent report, a high-end Oppo A series handset with model number Oppo A98 may also be in the works. It is being said that this smartphone has a full-HD + display with 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC.
