New Delhi: Huawei Nova Y61 was recently quietly listed on the Huawei Global website. This low-cost smartphone can be considered a successor to the Huawei Nova Y60, which was released last year.

Huawei Nova Y61 flaunts a 6.52-inch HD+ LCD screen with a refresh rate of 60Hz. The device is powered by an unspecified octa-core processor and runs EMUI 12. It comes with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 22.5W Huawei SuperCharge fast charging. The dual-SIM 4G smartphone supports Wi-Fi 2.4GHz, Bluetooth v5.1 and NFC.

Huawei Nova Y61 has been added to the company's global website. The price and release date of this upcoming smartphone is yet to be announced by Huawei.

This phone will be available in Midnight Black, Mint Green and Sapphire Blue color. Its 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model will be available globally, but its 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant will be available only in Asia Pacific.

The Huawei Nova Y61 flaunts a 6.52-inch HD+ (720x1,600) LCD screen with a refresh rate of 60Hz. Its front has a water-drop notch which houses the selfie camera. The device is powered by an unspecified octa-core processor and runs EMUI 12.

It has three rear cameras, the most important of which is a 50-megapixel main camera with f/1.8 aperture. The handset also includes a macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture and a depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture.

The Huawei Nova Y61 also packs a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture. These camera configurations can record full-HD videos.

The Huawei Nova Y61 comes with a 5,000mAh battery which is said to last up to 6 hours of online video streaming. The device also supports Huawei SuperCharge fast charging at 22.5W.

It has Wi-Fi at 2.4GHz, Bluetooth v5.1 and NFC wireless connectivity. A USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack are provided. There is also a fingerprint sensor on its side.
