New Delhi: Kamya Karthikeyan, a 12-year-old student from India, has won Ekankagua, the highest peak outside Asia. While reaching this mount, she hoisted the tricolor. The seventh student had achieved the feat on 1 February 2020 on this peak of 6962 meters. Mount Aconcagua is the highest peak in the Andes Mountains located in Azertinna, South American.

Earlier, she had also won the 6260-meter high Mentalk Kangri 2 of Ladakh in the year 2019.

She has also been the oldest mountaineer to reach Mount Stoke Kangri.
