Amit Shah predicts BJP would win easily once more in Gujarat

GANDHINAGAR: Union Home Minister Amit Shah predicted on Tuesday that the BJP will easily win a 2/3 majority in the upcoming Assembly elections in Gujarat.

Speaking of his faith in the electorate, he stated that instead of being misled by empty rhetoric, voters would judge the BJP's performance on the development projects it has already completed.

Speaking virtually to a crowd on the occasion of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel's one year in office, Shah recalled that when Patel was sworn in, people were a little hesitant, but he proved everyone wrong and successfully finished one year.

He cited a recent NITI Aayog study to claim that Gujarat is at the top of the list for effective governance in a variety of areas, including education, health, and other industries. He said that as the state's chief minister, he carried on the development efforts that Narendra Modi had begun.

Because law and order is maintained, Gujarat has advanced under the BJP's control. By contrast, Gujarat did not advance under the Congress' rule because there were frequent riots, curfews, and explosions.

Vedanta group and the state government had earlier in the day inked an MOU for Vedanta group to invest Rs. 1,54 lakh crore in Gujarat's Foxconn Semiconductor facility.
