Explosive blast in four-storey building in Karachi, 3 died

Karachi: A major explosion has been reported in Karachi on Wednesday. According to the information received, the blast took place in Gulshan-e-Iqbal in a four-storey building opposite the Karachi University Muskan Gate, killing three people and injuring 15 others.

According to media reports, all the injured and the dead have been taken to Patel Hospital but it is still not known what caused the explosion. However, the SHO of Mubina Town Police has speculated that the explosion may have occurred due to the explosion of the cylinder. With which he informed that the bomb disposal squad is about to reach the spot to find out the cause of the blast. An explosion is anticipated on the second floor of the building. Apart from this, other buildings and vehicles around the building have also been damaged. A day earlier, 5 people were injured in a bomb blast at the bus terminal entrance near Sheerin Jinnah Colony.

Earlier in July, more than 20 people were injured in an explosion in Turi Bazaar of Parachinar city of Northwest Pakistan in Pakistan. The blast took place in a busy open market, killing at least 20 people. Earlier in February, 10 people were killed in a horrific bomb blast in Quetta, Baluchistan, while 35 others were seriously injured. It was reported that it was a suicide blast which was targeted by a police vehicle. Two policemen were also killed in the blast.
