New Delhi: Asaram, who is serving sentence in the case of raping a minor, has not got any relief even from the Supreme Court. Asaram had filed a bail plea in the apex court, which has been rejected by the court. During this, the court has said that the trial against Asaram is still going on and its hearing is going to be held in January. In such a situation, he cannot be released on bail. Let us inform you that, Asaram has knocked on the doors from the Lower Court to the Supreme Court to be released from jail, but he is not getting any relief from anywhere. In fact, Asaram had filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking permission to present other witnesses in the trial court in the case. Also, he had sought bail citing his old age and ailments. In this appeal, it was said that his age is more than 85 years and he has many types of diseases, due to which he is completely unwell and needs better treatment. But, this appeal has been turned down by the apex court. Now the Supreme Court will hear Asaram's case in January. While taking action in the case of raping a minor in his own ashram, the Jodhpur police arrested Asaram from Chhindwara. Since then Asaram is imprisoned in the Central Jail of Jodhpur. After a long hearing and action, the SC/ST court and the Pocso court sentenced Asaram to jail till his last breath.
