BJP likely to demand Jammu and Kashmir Assembly poll in October

New Delhi: The BJP will seek the Election Commission to hold assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir in October. A consensus has been reached in the party's meeting with Jammu and Kashmir leaders last evening. President's rule in Jammu and Kashmir has been in effect since December 2018. Meanwhile, State Governor Satypal Malik has said that Jammu and Kashmir has deteriorated due to lies by the state leaders.

Satyapal Malik further said that the valley leaders have always fulfilled their wishes by showing false dreams to the people. He said this during an event held at the Sher Kashmir International Convocation Centre. He has held the political parties of Jammu and Kashmir and the central governments of the east responsible for the current situation in the province.

Malik told the separatist forces that if you consider freedom to go with Pakistan, go away, nobody will stop. But, breaking the Hindutva is not going to be a freedom. This was stated by Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satypal Malik from Pakistan's leaders in the militant-hit Kashmir valley who have been a supporter of terrorists in the country's two-pronged Kashmir.
