Mumbai: BJP has released its manifesto for Maharashtra assembly elections. In its manifesto, the BJP has demanded the Bharat Ratna for the great social reformers Jitiba Phule, Savitri Bai Phule and Veer Savarkar. Apart from this, many populist promises such as employment to 1 crore people, providing pure drinking water to every household by 2022, providing 12 hours of electricity to farmers have been made.
On this occasion, BJP Working President JP Nadda has said that this 'Sankalp Patra' is not only a letter but a very deeply made letter.
Here are some of the promises made by the BJP in its manifesto:
- Will create 1 crore jobs in the coming five years, - For the next 5 years, the electricity used in agriculture will be based on solar energy and will provide more than 12 hours of electricity to farmers. - By 2022, every household will invest 5 lakh crore rupees in collaboration with the central government to provide pure drinking water, basic amenities. - We will free Maharashtra from drought in the coming 5 years. -Will stop the waters of the rivers flowing from the west from the Godavari valley and transport them to the drought-hit part of Marathwada and North Maharashtra. - Providing pure drinking water to every household by 2022 - 5 lakh crore rupees will be invested in collaboration with the central government for basic facilities - Through the Chief Minister Gram Sadak Yojana, all settlements will be connected to the roads running for 12 months. - Through the second phase of Gram Sadak Yojana, 30 thousand km of rural roads will be built - Connecting entire Maharashtra to the Internet through the India Net and Maharashtra Net
