New Delhi:: A boy allegedly raped a 16-year-old girl after committing a robbery at a closed Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) school in the national capital, police said on April, 5. The victim's parents, who are working as contract workers at the school, complained, and the police responded by registering an FIR for rape and robbery. Also, the family stayed at the school, which was shuttered for a few days, said the police. The police also said that the incident happened on Tuesday while the victim's parents were away from the school. "The parents left the school on Tuesday to pick up their pay. The 16-year-old girl was alone herself with her 18-year-old older sister. According to the complaint, a boy broke into the school at 11.30 am. He first carried out a robbery before taking a knife from the kitchen and forcing the younger sister to submit to a sexual assault "said in the FIR. The victim's statement has been recorded, as stated by police. An officer declared, "We are on the lookout for the culprit," adding that material from numerous CCTV cameras had been examined. "The police are investigating the case from every angle," the officer said. Fed up with the drunken husband, the wife took this dreadful step.
