Visakhapatnam: In Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh, there is news of vandalism at a Hindu temple and the idols of the deities present in it. In this matter, the police have registered a case and started an investigation. So far, no information has been received regarding the accused. The name of the village where the idol of Lord Ganesha was vandalised is House Ganesh. The incident was reported on Monday, March 3.

 

As per reports, the case has come to light in the Phirangipuram area of Guntur district. There is a Hindu temple in a village called House Ganesh, which is the main centre of faith for the local people. There are idols of many Hindu deities in the temple. It is alleged that on March 3, an unknown miscreant vandalised the temple by entering it. The temple has been badly damaged by this vandalism. The attacker also broke the idol of Lord Ganesha present in the temple.

According to a report, the idol of Lord Ganesha was broken into several pieces. When the police got information about this matter, they went to the scene. An investigation has been started by registering a case against the unknown accused. The vandalism in the damaged temple is being repaired, and the idols are being restored. The police claim that the accused will be arrested soon after identifying the anti-social elements. However, at the time of this writing, no arrest has been reported.
