Fire broke out in candle factory, workers jumped from first floor to save lives

Agra: A fire took place at a candle factory in the mound area of Mandi Market in Hing, Agra on Tuesday morning. There was a commotion in the area. The police and fire brigade vehicles reached the spot. The fire was controlled in about half an hour. 50 thousand things were burnt in the fire. 

Work is going on on a large level in view of Diwali. There is a factory on the ground floor, while the first floor has room for workers to stay. Four labourers were working in the factory at 9 am on Tuesday morning. Then there was a fire. The workers tried to extinguish the fire, but the fire spread. It created a ruckus. The labourers on the first floor escaped by jumping from the neighbours' house. The nearby people also came out of the houses.

The fire brigade and police reached the place where the fire broke out. The fire could be controlled in about half an hour. Fire Officer VP Tripathi said that the fire has been reported to be short circuit. The factory owner suffered a loss of 50 thousand. The factory was running on the street. This fire has created a sense of fear among the people nearby. The matter is now being investigated by the police.
