'Hindutva is like terror outfit ISIS,' Congress leader Salman Khurshid booked

New Delhi: Former Union minister and veteran Congress leader Salman Khurshid's troubles seem to be mounting. In fact, recently a book by Salman Khurshid has been published. It is alleged that he compared Hindutva to the dreaded terror outfit ISIS and Boko Haram. Now two lawyers of the apex court have approached the police over the book.

Supreme Court lawyers Vineet Jindal and Vivek Garg have lodged a complaint with the police commissioner. The lawyers in their complaint have sought registration of a case of contempt of the supreme court and attempt to disturb social harmony against Khurshid. Vineet Jindal has alleged that Salman Khurshid compared Hindutva to the "jihadist thinking" of terror outfits like ISIS and Boko Haram. In another complaint filed against Congress leader Salman Khurshid, a Delhi lawyer named Vivek Garg has urged the Delhi Police Commissioner to file a case complaining of an attempt to disturb social harmony and peace.

Earlier, BJP leader Amit Malviya tweeted and shared the page of the book where Khurshid compared Hindutva to organisations like ISIS and Boko Haram. Amit Malviya tweeted, 'Congress leader Salman Khurshid wrote in his book, Hindutva is like jihadist Islamic organisation ISIS and Boko Haram.' Malviya further wrote, "What else can we expect from the person whose party coined the word saffron terrorism only to bring equality with Islamic Jihad, to get Muslim votes?"
