DUSU Election: These two largest organizations fielded their candidates

The two big organizations All India Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) and National Student Union of India (NSUI) have announced their respective panels for the Delhi University Students Union elections. Both organizations have placed bets on women in some positions. Both the organizations have fielded one student each in four posts.

Delhi Pradesh Congress will campaign in DUSU elections in favor of Indian National Students Organization. Last month, a meeting in this regard was held under the leadership of PC Chacko, in-charge of the State Congress Committee, after which PC Chacko had asked the assembly and DUSU contesting candidates to place hoardings in favor of NSUI candidates in their constituencies.

In this meeting, Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee Working President Harun Yusuf, Devendra Yadav, and Rajesh Lilothia had said that Congress workers and leaders do their best to ensure the victory of NSUI candidates in the elections of DUSU elections Delhi University Students Union.

In his statement, NSUI in-charge Ruchi Gupta had said that the strategy of NSUI in DUSU election would be to oppose the anti-student policies of ABVP and emphasize on a university equal opportunity for students. On Wednesday, candidates from all other student organizations, including the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) and the National Student Union of India (NSUI), filed nominations at the enrollment center on the North Campus.
