Arun Jaitley passes away: CM Nitish Kumar pays tribute, two-day state mourning in Bihar

Patna: Senior BJP leader and former Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has passed away at Delhi's AIIMS Hospital. He had been undergoing treatment at AIIMS in Delhi since August 9. After Arun Jaitley's demise, many leaders have expressed grief. Bihar CM Nitish Kumar has declared a two-day state mourning over the death of Arun Jaitley.

CM Nitish Kumar has gone after Arun Jaitley's death and cancelled his visit to Ranchi. Nitish Kumar was reportedly to attend three programmes in Gaya. Also, the JDU conference was scheduled to be held in Ranchi on Sunday. CM Nitish Kumar has expressed grief over Arun Jaitley's death. In Bihar, he has declared a two-day state mourning. Nitish Kumar is expected to reach Delhi on Saturday evening. He will go to Delhi to pay homage to Arun Jaitley.

Recently, When Arun Jaitley's status deteriorated considerably. While he was undergoing treatment at AIIMS, Nitish Kumar had reached the capital to find out his condition. In Bihar too, there has been a wave of mourning over the death of Arun Jaitley. Here, from the Treasury Benches to the Leader of the Opposition, all are expressing grief over the passing away of Arun Jaitley.
